I will agree that people who call themselves otaku's and then want all action in an anime are not what they claim to be. a true fan would appreciate all angles of an anime, from it's world building, to it's character backstories, to it's battles, to it's suspense and mystery, to it's art style and songs. if you aren't interested in all that and want to just watch nothing but action, there are plenty of other shows for that. don't be selfish and get into a show and it's characters that clearly isn't all about fighting and try to force your input on making it nothing but fights. i do get the subs are hard for some people to sit around and read, but no effort no gain. no gain no insight. and if it's really bad for you, then wait for the dubs at least
